Time: 6:00 pm

This class is part of two that introduce and practice the current lesson of that week. The Puppy Class cycles through six different lessons, each week offering the lesson both on Saturday and Monday. Rolling enrollment means that puppies can join Puppy Classes at any point in the six week cycle. NOTE: Puppies should start classes as soon as possible, as long as they are healthy and on-track for their age-appropriate shots (they will still need their final set.)

* STAR Pup ObedSTAR Pup Obed

Time: 7:30 pm

This class is for puppies who have earned their S.T.A.R. puppy certification but who may want a little more experience before entering one of the Basic Obedience classes. Typically, very small and/or young puppies should take this class. Puppies can enter at any time and stay as long as they like, for a fee of $25 per class.

* Leash WalkingLeash Walking

Time: 6:00 pm

(3 weeks) We'll show you how to walk your dog without either one of you pulling on the leash! And we'll do it without using the painful corrections made with so-called “training” devices. In other words, your dog will learn to stay near you because he WANTS to, not because he’s punished when he pulls on the leash. (3 weeks, $75)

* Brush-Up MannersBrush-Up Manners

Time: 7:50 pm

(3 weeks) Have you taken a Playful Pups class? If you would like to revisit a few behaviors, this is the class for you! The curriculum depends on what the group wants to work on...but typically dealing with triggers on a walk and jumping up on guests are on the list!

3
* Stay/Wait!Stay/Wait!

Time: 6:00 pm

(3 weeks) In this class you’ll teach a “Stay” for when you plan to return; a “Wait” for a momentary pause before responding to your call; and a stay until released when given the command “Go to your mat.” Best of all, you’ll practice these skills by playing games!

* Intro to ObedIntro to Obed

Time: 7:30 pm

(6 weeks) This "Intro to Force-Free Obedience" class is for dogs just starting training classes and/or dogs with some training but have not learned through science-backed, force-free training methods.

4
* Therapy/CGC PrepTherapy/CGC Prep

Time: 6:00 pm
